Please give us an update on the status of “Our Show”….is it still in the running for the new season? I hope so! We need more innovative shows like Curb and like this one sounds!

I noticed that NBC doesn’t have “Our Show” on its schedule. Any chance that another network would pick it up? I think it would be good on cable. We “curb” fans are rooting for it to be picked up somewhere!

I agree with Stan – it’s still scary to the corporate (read: studio, network, etc.) world, but I think wider audiences are ready for it. Also, you open up tremendous possibilities for a seamless online narrative with your “leftover” footage, building out the world online (if you choose to do so – I look for transmedia potential in everything now, and hope to be joining you in the PGA soon!)

Great article, Tim. I think you did the right thing and not go with a tech/gadget blog approach.

My answers:

“Can the network handle it?” Nope. They can’t fit this production into their corporate environment.

“Will the mainstream TV audience (let alone the network!) accept something with so many looks?” Take it to the bank. Absolutely.

Just my two cents (on consignment).
